Under the Federal Rail Safety Act (FRSA) it is unlawful for any railroad to:

  • Discharge

  • Discriminate

  • Demote

  • Suspend

  • Reprimand

in whole or in part against an employee who:

  • Reports a work-related injury​

  • Reports an unsafe condition in the workplace
